AB DF1 Integration Kit

I am trying to use the AB integration kit with an AB SLC500 series plc. According to the instructions, I should be using the Protected Typed Logical Read command. However, the only one that works (somewhat) is the AB Typed Read command which is supposed to be for the PLC5 series. Also, I can only get it to read one register at a time (not multiple) so I don't know if that's because I'm using the wrong command or if there is something else wrong.

I have applications using AB Integration kit, and RUN using AB Protected Typed Logical Read / Write ...What AB Controller use? Did you configured Download Option, Before RUn File...AB.LIB?...and the Ext. Instrucion File Included..AB.XID to each Soubrutine?...All instructions are in Form 912-990216
