Application on a Railroad
Hello everybody, my name is Juan Pablo and I am new in this forum. Here I will shortly describe an application for a Railroad using Opto 22: Regards. Application on a Railroad The objective is to obtain data from a train locomotive equipped with a rack, B3000-Enet and its respective I/O modules. When the train arrives to the station a wireless system downloads the required data from the Opto 22 equipment placed in a cabinet on the locomotive. In this case the adquisition software used is developed by the user and uses wireless devices to communicate with the Opto 22 equipment. The hardware used for the wireless communication is an omnidirectional antenna connected to a access client and through this to the brain placed at the locomotive. This application is now being tested with good results so far.
