Pump automation, and control levels
---------------------------------- In English ---------------------------------- I work in a company of automation projects in the Veracruz State, México, and I used the BRAIN B300-ENET, controller LCM4 with ethernet card. The control system is used to control the level of 2 troug by means of the control of speed of 2 motors through converters of frequency, the speed required in the motor depends on the Sep-point fixed in the computer that corresponds at the level of a trough. The level of the trough is measured by a sensor type radar, the level sign is transmitted to the analogical card SNAP-AIMA of opto 22. In Optocontrol one has configured a regulator PID that receives the level sign, compares it with the Set-point fixed and this sends a control sign to the converter of frequency to control the speed of a motor which moves to a drum that picks up sludges in the trough, maintaining this way the level fixed in the computer. The system also controls in level of 1 tank which receives product of 3 tanks through the outburst and unemployment of 5 pumps. They are had sensor type radar in each tank to measure the level and to send it to cards SNAP-AIMA. They were configured in optodisplay friendly screens so that the user can write the outburst setpoint and unemployment of each pump. With the control of the outburst of pumps it is controlled the level of each tank totally, because the pumps start up and they stop in an automatic way depending on the values fixed in the computer which are compared with the level measured in each tank. Trends were configured for the levels of the tanks and for the outburst of the motors of the pumps. It was used a controller and brain with ethernet, to be able to visualize the data in another computer connected in ethernet, from another control room. Also in Optodisplay 2 screens were added that correspond to another process controlled by another controller of I opt 22, united through ethernet. ¡ The system works excellent!.
