I was using some custom aproachs for the Bench Test Units in our Procution

I was using some custom aproachs for the Bench Test Units in our Procution Lines for a while... I was using Optomux too sometimes, programming a PC in Turbo C (some time ago)... So... I discovered The Ultimate I/O brain and SNAP concept. I consulted to the local distributor in Venezuela and I started to use the IOControl programming Strategy. It was amazing. I´m developping a new concept for a Photocontrol Bench Test based in OPTO22 in order to improve the performance of the production line. In one month of regular work (with shared resources) I got the solution complete with an Ultimate I/O Brain, 16 digital outputs, 5 digital inputs and 1 PID control loop for the light of the dark chamber (a lamp with a PWM control and a Lightmeter for feedback). Compared with the earlier aproach (with a microcontroler card) that taked 6 month of full resources for developing, it was really fast. I´m working now to extend the I/O capabilities in order to reproduce the Bench Test units with the same Brain as Master in a new concept of networked Testing Units, thanks to the OPTO22 SNAP Ethernet flexibility.
