Hello, For testing purposes, I need to take parallel measurements from a working AD10T2 + Pt100. Can anyone provide a description on how does this module measure resistance? I would expect it to provide a constant current while measuring a voltage, but I don't know any details, namely the current value. Any info would be appreciated. Best regards, António Vilela

Are you wanting an impedance measurement or a current measurement? Usually you have to disconnect the RTD and measure the resistance. Or you input a known resistance using resistors or a decade box. Depending on what you are trying to test. Im not sure if it is possible to measure the impedance while the RTD is hooked up to the module as there would be issues with the meter creating a smaller impedance for the module to look at. Hope that helps.

Hi, I need to measure the temperature in parallel with the module i.e. with the system in operation. In order to do that I'm planning to measure the voltage at the resistor's terminals. To compute the temperature from the voltage, I need to know how they relate. If the AD10T2 has a constant current source then voltage will be directly proportional to temperature, and I only need to know the constant current value in order to establish the correct relation. If not, then I need to know how the AD10T2 operates. Best regards, António Vilela
