I was recently at the Process, Automation, Measurement and Control Expo here in South Africa and the Robotic stands were brilliant and the most popular by far. As Opto 22 proves to make automation easier through its hardware and software design, a demo explaining the motion fundamentals and how the SNAP-SCM-MCH16, SNAP-SCM-BB4 and the Opto Motion Command Set are available to the user. Motion is a very interesting topic and being implemented more and more often, so I’m sure many others would be interested to see how the Opto Equipment can ease the worries of a smilingly complicated process. A background on the hardware and software would be great, and then an example of how it could be used, maybe in Motor Vehicle, or Chip Board manufacturing etc, something with a big impressive robot arm.
