ioDisplay Improvements

Don't get me wrong.  I love my SNAP hardware and ioProject.  But, I do have two suggestions for improvements to ioDisplay.

1. Ability to zoom in and out on a section when creating a new ioDisplay project.  Of course I'm spoiled by AutoCAD.

2. Ability to turn the event log display off COMPLETELY.  I want to see it when I'm debugging and testing, but I don't particularly want my customers to see it pop up when the display first starts.

We will review your PAC Display requests.

btw, a great way to sent product requests is to e-mail them to support@opto22.com.

Not to sure if its what you are looking for but you might like to check out the option in PACDisplay Configurator

Configure>Runtime Setup>Security>Event Log Options>Start Enabled [x]

I wouldnt suggest turning an option to turn this off completely.  If you have set things up correctly, the sort of information that appears is usually pretty useful, informing you of runtime errors, comms problems etc that are affecting the performance of the scanner.  Its about the same as some car dealers who remove the airbag failure indicator bulb during the warantee period to stop the driver complaining about false alarms!
