Rate Input: SNAP-AIRATE-HFi
If you're looking for a high-speed analog rate input, you've come to the right place.
The SNAP-AIRATE-HFi works with TTL, CMOS, and open-collector outputs.
Each of the module's two isolated channels can be configured for a 0.1-second measurement interval with an input range of 20 Hz to 500 kHz, or a 1-second measurement interval with an input range of 2 Hz to 500 kHz.
Typical use is for high-speed (up to 500 kHz) pulse scanning. Testing engines is just one example.
See full description and specs for the SNAP-AIRATE-HFi.
How To Use Them
Use both modules with a SNAP PAC rack-mounted controller or a SNAP PAC brain.
Mount them on a SNAP PAC rack alongside other SNAP modules— analog, digital, and serial—whatever you need for your application.
A Word (or Three) about Isolation
Channel-to-channel isolation. The two channels on each of these high-speed modules are isolated from each other. Channel-to-channel isolation gives you complete freedom from ground-loop problems even on grounded devices connected to channels on the same module.
Transformer isolation. All SNAP analog modules provide transformer isolation, which prevents ground loop currents from flowing between field devices and causing noise that produces erroneous readings. Ground loop currents are caused when two grounded field devices share a connection, and the ground potential at each device is different.
Optical isolation. All SNAP I/O modules provide optical isolation that protects sensitive control electronics from industrial field signals: 4,000 volts of transient (4000 V for 1 ms) protection.

TPO/PWM Output: SNAP-AOD-29-HFi
Meet the high-speed SNAP-AOD-HFi, an analog time-proportional output (TPO) and pulse width modulation (PWM) module that sends pulse outputs to high-frequency transducers.
This module would be great for simulating tachometer outputs in test bed applications, for example.
Each of the two isolated TPO channels can switch 100 mA of load current ranging from 2.5 VDC to 24 VDC supplied externally, over a period range of 0.00001 second to 64.25 seconds (0-100 kHz).
