An Introduction: New to Opto 22!

Hi to all our Opto fans!

My name is Kristie Allison, I'm pretty new here at Opto 22 and wanted to introduce myself as you'll see my name on many of the blogs. I joined the marketing team this past July and just moved to the great city of Temecula. I really like the city so far and found that even though it's grown, it still is small enough that it feels like everybody knows each other. I'm originally from San Diego and I graduated from UCSB a couple years ago.  After graduating, I did marketing for a software company in my home town. I recently got married and relocated to Temecula with my husband, Josh, and our yorkie, Max.

At Opto, I work on a wide range of our marketing efforts, focused mostly on our website as well as print and online advertising. I'm really excited to have joined the team and I'm learning so much from the many talented people that work here.

A couple things about me; after we got Max a year and half ago, I became a complete dog person. So always feel free to share your dog pictures and stories with me. Also, I love all sports and quickly became the Opto volleyball game planner. But nothing beats football, I'm a huge University of Michigan fan and Chargers fan even though this year has been rough. I also played tennis for about 13 years including college and miss not playing more often. I'm a complete Starbucks addict, love 80's music, and can't wait for the next season of American Idol. But most of all I like getting to know people, especially here at Opto, so look for my blogs "Get to know Opto" and always feel free to say hello or tell me a good story!
