The training group at Opto 22 turned October into Optober by hosting two training class at the Temecula headquarters. Both classes were full of a mixture of new and experienced users, proving yet again that Opto 22 offers training and support to new and experienced customers the same.
The first class started October 8th. The customers in attendance were Jamie H., Wolfgang L., and Brad B. from City of Portland, Les L. from Classic Salads, Sam K. from Dolphin International, Prashant D. from EPS, John B. from Holly Corporation, Oney U. from Maricopa Water District, Aarin M. from Technical Systems Inc., and Jeffrey T. from Mulder-Hardenberg. Jeffrey is a new member of Mulder-Hardenberg, Opto 22's distributor in the Netherlands.
A few of the interesting applications that members in this class worked on came from Dolphin International, Classic Salads, and EPS. Dolphin International uses Opto 22 to monitor aquariums during the transport of exotic fish. Classic Salads is currently upgrading their energy management program to PAC systems in order to make energy use improvements (an application close to my own heart). Following the same lines, EPS will be using Opto 22 for an energy solution implementation for one of their customers.
