No holiday season is complete without a training class at Opto headquarters. And why not come to Temecula in December? No snow here. In fact, the weather peaked at a nice 80 deg. F (26 deg. C) the week of December 3rd.
Its a good thing that the weather was nice. The December training class had attendees from all over (including some places that were receiving snow December 3rd). Attendees in this class were Jorrey L. from Ashworth, Alan G. and Bruce C. from Luminescent Systems Inc., Brian H. and Louis P. from Messier-Bugatti USA, Kim J. and Kathy O. from Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Firas B. from SAS Group, and Gilberto O. from Sundance Spas.
This was a talkative bunch so I got the chance to learn about many of their applications. Ashworth uses Opto to control their stock carrousel for their embroidery department. Luminescent Systems Inc. uses Opto to monitor their autoclaves.
I want to mention Firas from SAS Group again. SAS Group will be a new OptoPartner. Firas will be working hard to get Opto working hard in 13 different countries.
