SNAP-B3000-ENET and SNAP-ENET-S64 may drop characters when using a serial module

Symptoms:

Characters may be dropped by a SNAP-B3000-ENET or SNAP-ENET-S64 when they are used to serially transmit characters with a SNAP-SCM-232 or SNAP-SCM-485 serial module.

Workaround:

Add a delay after transmitting a string or character, and a delay after receiving a serial response. Delay times will vary based on serial baud rates and network traffic to the I/O brain.

Resolution:
