M4RTU 'RUN' LED continually flashes on power up

Problem was introduced in version: Rev. 2 Manufactured July 2007 to January 2008
Problem is corrected in controllers manufactured: February 2008 and after

Symptoms:

The RUN LED continually flashes on an M4RTU controller after power up. Communication to the controller cannot be established because the controller is continually resetting.

How to Identify Newer Controllers
Controllers with the newer CPU have a white label with "Rev. 2." The label is adhered to the green mounting rack below the top controller cover, between the digital and analog modules.

Resolution:

Opto 22 has resolved this issue. Call Opto 22 Product Support to set up an RMA to correct this problem.
