SYMPTOMS

Changing the upper or lower scaled units for an analog output point may cause a rare, infrequent module reset.

When the problem occurs, the Smart Modules Present mask in PAC Manager momentarily indicates the module is offline, and the module's Times Discovered count from the Inspect Opto 22 Device page (Tools→Inspect, Status Read), increments by one.

RESOLUTION

Opto 22 has resolved this issue and will include the fix in an upcoming release.
