groov Server for Windows may have a conflict on port 443

Symptoms:

When installing groov Server for Windows, the error "port 443 is already in use ..." appears and prevents you from accessing groov Build or View.

Workaround:

The easiest workaround is to change the port number that groov Server for Windows is running on. To do this, open the jetty.conf file, which is usually located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Opto22\groov\jetty. Change the line "sslport=443" to an unused port.

Another workaround is to disable the application or program that is running on port 443, but this can be difficult and time consuming if the application or program is not readily known.

Resolution:

Opto 22 has resolved this issue.
