Versions Affected:

Versions affected: R9.1a - R9.3e
Problem is fixed in version: R9.4a

Resolved In Version:

Problem is fixed in version: R9.4a

Symptoms:

When using a TCP/IP communication handle that only transmits data, you may see either delayed transmission of data or bursts of queued data. This indicates that Nagle's algorithm is enabled in the PAC control engine's TCP/IP communication handles.

Nagle's algorithm is enabled automatically and it cannot be disabled in PAC Control. While it is not useful in PAC Control, in a very slow network environment it ensures that data is transmitted in an orderly fashion by combining small outgoing messages and sending them all at once.
