Value Limits for gadgets cannot handle very large numbers

Symptoms:

When a very large number is entered into a Max Value or Min Value text field for a groov gadget, the Min Value changes to -Infinity, the Max Value changes to Infinity, and the gadget becomes unresponsive. An exponential number, such as 3e10, changes to -/+ Infinity for the Min and Max Values, and -1 appears for the gadget's output in groov View.

Resolution:
