PAC Control Pack String/Unpack String commands may return incorrect or no data

Symptoms:

When you use PAC Control commands Pack String or Unpack String to encode or decode data to or from a string, you may see incorrect data or no data returned.

For example, you may see the month and day switched, the year shown as 1900 more than it should be, or minutes or seconds at zero or an unusually large value. You may also see packed bytes that are not in the correct order, or unpacked values that are incorrect.

Workaround:

Use the command Get Substring to extract the data you want, and then unpack it manually.

Resolution:

Opto 22 has resolved this issue.
