E1 or E2 firmware update may fail intermittently

Symptoms:

E1 and E2 brain boards with firmware versions R1.1c, R1.1d, or R1.1.f installed may intermittently fail to update firmware. Instead, 3-4 minutes after you begin the firmware update, the brain boots back up with the previous version of firmware.

Updates fail on approximately 1 in 20 attempts.

This issue does not affect E1s and E2s with firmware R1.1e installed.

Workaround:

Try to update the firmware again.

Resolution:

Opto 22 has resolved this issue.
