Host Task stops processing commands if you stop strategy while in Debug mode

Symptoms:

While using PAC Control in Debug mode, if a chart has one or more breakpoints and you click the Stop Strategy button, the SNAP PAC controller’s host task may unexpectedly stop processing commands, resulting in a loss of communication with the controller.

Workaround:

Remove all breakpoints before clicking Stop Strategy.

If you've already clicked Stop Strategy, you can either:

Cycle power to the controller, or
Send the "Restart from powerup" command via PAC Manager

Resolution:
