groov Box SYS LED continuously blinks green after powerup; GROOV-AR1 doesn't respond to Ethernet

groov Admin versions 1.570.47 & 1.570.48

Symptoms:

After powerup, the SYS LED on the GROOV-AR1 doesn't stop blinking green.
Also, the GROOV-AR1 doesn't respond via Ethernet.

This problem occurs if Ignition Edge is enabled and either of the following is true:

A USB WiFi adapter is not installed but WLAN0 is enabled and properly configured.
A USB WiFi adapter is installed but either
- WLAN0 is not properly configured (for example, bad SSID or bad passphrase) or
- The wireless network is not available.

Workaround:

Before proceeding with the workaround, note: Always disable WLAN0 configuration in groov Admin before removing the USB WiFi adapter.

If WLAN0 is properly configured and the WiFi network is available, install the USB WiFi adapter and wait about 2 to 4 minutes.
The system should reset within about 2 minutes and then boot successfully.
Perform "Restore Factory Defaults" operation.

Resolution:

Opto 22 has resolved this issue and will include the fix in an upcoming release.
