After updating to any Node-RED version between v2 and v4, Node-RED flows stop working

Applies To:

GROOV-AR1, GROOV-AR1-BASE, GROOV-AR1-SNAP

Versions Affected:

groov Admin v47–v49; Node-RED Update for AR1 v2–v4

Symptoms:

Node-RED flows are not active. Also, the Node-RED Admin page may not load. If the page does load, the Node-RED status reports as Errored.

Workaround:

If possible, avoid upgrading Node-RED if you have groov Admin v47-v49.

If groov Box is already in this state, a "restore factory defaults" operation is required. After restoring to factory defaults, check the version of groov Admin. If it is v46 (or an older version that supports Node-RED), then upgrade Node-RED to v5 or later.
