ioControl command ‘Convert Number to Formatted Hex String’ returns incorrect string

Symptoms:

The ioControl command Convert Number to Formatted Hex String returns an incorrect hex string. The most significant eight hex digits are repeated, and zeros are added to a string that is shorter than the formatted length .

Example:

The integer value for hex string ABCDEFAAAFFFCCC is used in an ioControl strategy with the Convert Number to Formatted Hex String command. The hex string returned is 0ABCDEFA0ABCDEFA, where the most significant eight hex digits are repeated, and a character zero is added to the string.

Resolution:

Opto 22 has resolved this issue.
