The following instructions explain the manufacture date code. Modules with a date code prior to JEXXXXXXEJ have not been updated, and require a return RMA. Modules with a special marking of ¢107 have been updated.
- The first two characters in the Build Code is the year of manufacture. The last two characters in the Build Code is the week of manufacture.
- The year and week is decoded by the following chart:
1 = A
3 = C
5 = E
7 = G
9 = I
2 = B
4 = D
6 = F
8 = H
0 = J
The example below was manufactured in the year JE (05, which is 2005) and in week EJ (50, which is in December).
At the low current range (less than 10% of the current range), the true power reading (from point 3) could sometimes exceed or be less than the calculated value (VRMS x ARMS) from VRMS (point 1) and ARMS (point 2).
Less resolution at the lower current range caused the above symptoms.
Opto 22 has corrected this issue. If you are experiencing the above symptoms, contact Opto 22 Product Support to discuss your system’s circumstances and to request a return RMA to correct your module.
