SYMPTOMS

Systems with stable loads and negative true power readings, exhibit a changing +/- sign. The magnitude of the reading is constant, but the sign changes.

RESOLUTION

Opto 22 has corrected this issue so that the sign remains constant. If you are experiencing the above symptom, contact Opto 22 Product Support to discuss your system’s circumstances and to request a return RMA to correct your module.

MORE INFORMATION

The following instructions explain the manufacture date code. Modules with a date code prior to JEXXXXXXEJ have not been updated, and require a return RMA. Modules with a special marking of ¢107 have been updated.

  1. The first two characters in the Build Code is the year of manufacture. The last two characters in the Build Code is the week of manufacture.
  2. The year and week is decoded by the following chart:
  3. 1 = A 3 = C 5 = E 7 = G 9 = I
    2 = B 4 = D 6 = F 8 = H 0 = J

The example below was manufactured in the year JE (05, which is 2005) and in week EJ (50, which is in December).
