The ioDisplay ‘Send Discrete’ dynamic attribute Bit field

Symptoms:

Projects upgraded to ioDisplay R7.0a and that do not have a Bit number specified in the Send Discrete, Discrete Tag Selection Dialog, will have all 32 bits (bits 0-31) of the selected tag affected by the Fixed Data option. This can lead to unexpected results.

Workaround:

Specify a bit number in the Discrete Tag Selection Dialog window Bit field.

Resolution:

Opto 22 has corrected this issue. If a project is upgraded from a version prior to version R7.0, and a bit was not specified in the Bit field, the default bit 0 will be used.
