SYMPTOMS

Commands used to read or write to all standard digital and analog modules on an I/O unit, may incorrectly return data for digital modules installed in positions 8 through 15 on a mounting rack.

From PAC Control and ioControl, the commands that may return incorrect data are:

Move Numeric Table to I/O Unit
Move Numeric Table to I/O Unit Ex
IVAL Move Numeric Table to I/O Unit
IVAL Move Numeric Table to I/O Unit Ex
Move I/O Unit to Numeric Table
Move I/O Unit to Numeric Table Ex

CAUSE

The on/off states of standard digital modules installed in positions 8 through 15 are not reported correctly in the Digital Packed Data Read/Write area. This area begins at memory map address F1001800.

RESOLUTION

Opto 22 has resolved this issue.
