Here's the Ethernet switch or wireless access point you need for a truly reliable control network: an N-TRON industrial Ethernet product, built to take whatever your application dishes out.
Noise, vibration, shock, temperature extremes, unreliable power sources: these devices handle them all and just keep communicating.
And now, you can buy N-TRON products from Opto 22 and our distributors. We have them in stock, we ship them right with your order of SNAP I/O and SNAP PAC controllers, and we support them—one call takes care of it.
We've partnered with N-TRON to sell their switches and APs because we've tested them and know they'll work for you. The Ethernet switches are ideal for any wired control network, whether 10/100 BaseTX copper or 100BaseFX fiber. The wireless access point is a great match for our new Wired+Wireless™ controllers and brains.

We've gathered all our videos in one place and categorized them so you can find the ones you want more easily.
Want to see an easy-to-use distributed control system? SNAP PAC System videos introduce SNAP PAC hardware and PAC Project software. See how to monitor temperatures, build an HMI, tune PID control loops, and much more.
If you're an Allen-Bradley® customer, check out our IO4AB videos. You'll learn how to add discrete and analog functionality in distributed, intelligent I/O with little programming and little impact on the PLC.
Video case studies let you look behind the scenes at how automation engineers design their systems. From fish to beer, you'll get a taste of how Opto 22 products are used in real applications.

Opto 22's Product Support Group (PSG) finds some helpful tips as they work with customers calling in for free technical support.
Here's a quick tip for PAC Manager, our configuration utility software for all SNAP PAC controllers and brains.
When you choose Tools > Inspect (or click the Inspect button), PAC Manager automatically tries to connect to the device you've most recently inspected.
That's often handy, but if you don't want to do that, just hold down the shift key while choosing Inspect or clicking the button. The Inspect window will open without connecting to any device, and you can then enter or choose the one you want to see.
