Opto 22 Headquarters

The training facility at Opto 22 headquarters has state-of-the-art student
workstations. Each station has its own personal computer and two monitors, one
showing the same information as the instructor's computer, and another for
displaying the student's work. Each workstation is equipped with Opto 22
hardware, including a SNAP PAC controller and SNAP I/O modules, a load panel,
and serial devices. Workstations and Opto 22 controllers are networked together
on a 100-Mbps Ethernet network.
Class size is limited to nine students so that each student receives individual
attention. With each student at his or her own training station, everyone gets
the chance to write and debug programs. Every student goes home with a training
manual documenting classroom exercises with step-by-step details.
Opto 22's high-quality training is also available
on-site for larger groups. Contact the Training
Department for more information.

Opto-Solutions Engineering & Design, Inc.
In addition to working as an Applications Engineer for Opto 22 Sales, our Certified Trainer Anthony Dern also worked with the Opto 22 Training Department. His technical knowledge, combined with continual interaction with customers at every technical level, helped structure and refine the FactoryFloor training class. He taught software training classes at Opto 22 for five years and concurrently taught Microsoft software at the University of California, Riverside for two years.
As an OptoPartner, distributor, and integrator, our experience with diverse applications in varied industries allows us to provide both textbook and real-world practice. We can offer standardized introduction courses, as taught at Opto 22, client-specific custom classes, or a hybrid of the two. Custom topics can include pointer tables, Modbus, serial protocols, and OPC server communication to any industry-standard graphical user interface.
The classes can be taught on-site or at Opto 22 headquarters. Over time the application may mature and change along with the personnel, but we are constant: as a consultant, integrator, and/or trainer, we can help maintain and enhance your Opto 22 system.
