Symptoms:

Note: This issue applies only to users that configure their modules through OptoMMP. It does not apply to PAC Control nor CODESYS users.

For the affected modules, if a channel is configured with the following features, you may see the listed symptom:

  • Pulse or period measurements (one-time)—If a pulse or period is at frequencies above 5 kHz, the channel may not measure a subsequent pulse or period.
  • Frequency (one-time) feature—If there is no input signal (0 Hz), the channel may not report a measurement.

In the memory map, the channel's feature type is not cleared.

Workaround:

Reconfigure the channel with the pulse (one-time), period (one-time), or frequency (one-time) feature.

Resolution:

Opto 22 has resolved this issue.
