OptoAsia Solutions was founded with the vision of addressing the trend of digitalization. Digitalization is the way forward, as effective implementation can help customers reduce costs and improve efficiency. All of this boils down to how data can be collected, used and interpreted.
How we do it?
Consulting, solution integration, and the use of good IT and OT solutions are key to supporting customers with their needs. Our solutions are designed to meet the requirements of the industry and incorporate state-of-the-art PLCs that include security features like firewall VPN. Our PLCs not only automate tasks but also act as gateways and protocol converters. We use off-the-shelf sensors as well as customised sensors to meet our customers' needs and address their unique challenges. Additionally, we employ video analytics with AI to automate systems and processes, reducing the need for manual intervention.
Our Founders
OptoAsia was founded by three individuals. The first founder has over 20 years of experience in IT infrastructure and application technology. Their responsibility is to identify a development framework that is effective in the long term, scalable, and cost-effective.
The second founder has extensive experience in Industry Automation, particularly in PLCs, Sensor technologies, and Digital Twin. Their awareness of integration challenges and strong understanding of limitations and challenges helps customers achieve successful implementation.
The third founder has strong connections to the IoT industry and supports OptoAsia in developing customised sensor technologies that meet customers’needs.
Our Mission
The old control system paradigm is breaking down and will be replaced by a new era of automation, which is highly IT-driven. OptoAsia strongly believes in the convergence of IT technology with operational technology (OT) to provide a true data-driven strategy. OptoAsia is leading the way to support customers in their digitisation journey.
