Signature Projects

  • Our company’s signature achievement with Opto 22 products is the development of the world’s first greenhouse simulator using the groov EPIC system. This simulator was designed to replicate and analyze the behavior of a greenhouse automation system by leveraging hardware inputs to observe system performance. The data gathered was processed using Node-RED to create behavioral logic, which in turn used EPIC’s analog outputs to send feedback to the greenhouse automation system, adjusting various environmental parameters. The simulator currently manages 78 signals in total, comprising 60 digital inputs, 1 digital output, and 17 analog outputs. The controller also supports MQTT and Modbus RTU communication protocols for versatile connectivity.
  • Additionally, we have utilized groov RIO for monitoring and data acquisition in a greenhouse environment, enhancing the overall control and automation capabilities.
