The G4AD16 provides a single channel of optically isolated true RMS current-to-digital conversion with an input current of 0-5 amp AC or DC. This module includes complete electrical channel-to-channel isolation, which eliminates troublesome ground loop problems. An ideal input is the 5-amp secondary winding of a standard current transformer used to monitor AC line current.
