Production Specification

Part of the groov EPIC® system, the GRV-IVAPM-3 analog input module provides an efficient way to monitor and measure power and energy usage in your facility. GRV-IVAPM-3 simultaneously measures volts AC RMS and amps AC RMS on Category III Wye (up to 400 VAC) or Delta (up to 600 VAC) circuits. It can monitor three-phase AC current using 0.333 V, 1 V, or 5 A current transformers (CT). Each phase can be configured to eliminate small signals from power measurement and energy accumulation to help you tune signal accuracy. The module cover includes an LED that indicates status and a touch-sensitive pad. Touch the pad and the groov EPIC processor displays information about the module, including specifications and a wiring diagram.

From the measured field inputs, the module automatically calculates additional channels of significant data, for a total of 64 data channels, including voltage and current; true, reactive and apparent power; power factor, frequency, net energy, and other values, as well as summations for all phases.

If the module is part of a groov EPIC system running a PAC Control™ strategy, strategy logic can automatically perform additional calculations and take action to address any issues detected.

The GRV-IVAPM-3 mounts on a groov EPIC chassis together with a GRV-EPIC-PR1 or GRV-EPIC-PR2 processor and other analog, discrete, and serial groov I/O modules. Opto 22 also offers a range of split core current transformers suitable for the GRV-IVAPM-3.

All groov I/O modules are UL/cUL listed and compliant with the ATEX, Low Voltage, and EMC CE and UKCA directives. Each module is factory tested twice before shipment and most modules are guaranteed for life.
