Production Specification

Part of the groov EPIC® system, the GRV-OVMALC-8 analog output module has 8 channels, individually configurable for any one of seven voltage or current output ranges:
  • 0 to 5 VDC
  • 0 to 10 VDC
  • -5 to +5 VDC
  • -10 to +10 VDC
  • 0 to 22 mA
  • 4 to 20 mA 
  • 0 to 20 mA 
Each range has 4096 counts (12 bits) of resolution. See the Specifications tab for more information. The module cover includes an LED that indicates status and a touch-sensitive pad. Touch the pad and the groov EPIC processor displays information about the module, including specifications and a wiring diagram.

For current outputs, the GRV-OVMALC-8 also provides an isolated loop supply.

The GRV-OVMALC-8 mounts on a groov EPIC chassis with a GRV-EPIC-PR1 processor and other analog, discrete, and serial groov I/O modules, to give you the mix of signals you need.  

All groov I/O modules are UL/cUL listed and compliant with the ATEX, Low Voltage, and EMC CE and UKCA directives. Each module is factory tested twice before shipment and most modules are guaranteed for life.
