OptoTerminal-G70 is an Ethernet-enabled, graphics-based operator interface for use with Opto 22's SNAP PAC System and other Ethernet-based systems. The compact, mountable display terminal is used to send commands and receive real-time data from plant floor equipment and other real-world devices connected to Opto 22 hardware for the purposes of automation, data acquisition, remote monitoring, and control.

The industrially hardened OptoTerminal-G70 offers standard TCP/IP Ethernet connectivity, a color touch screen, and easy-to-use software, and provides a low-cost, compact, and durable operator interface for the plant floor and remote locations.

Recommended for use with the OptoTerminal-G70 is the OptoTermCable, a power and serial cable that is convenient for programming the terminal on a desk or other temporary location.

Defines file for ioControl 6.x and OptoTerminals

Use this file to correct a problem that occurs when a SNAP Ultimate brain running an ioControl 6.0 or 6.1 strategy with subroutines communicates with an Opto 22 OptoTerminal. If your strategy does NOT use subroutines, you don't need to use this file.

To use this file, include it as a file that is downloaded with the ioControl strategy.

1) In ioControl's debugger, double-click on your control engine.

2) Click Download Options, and then click Add This to Files to Download After the Strategy.

3) Download the strategy to the SNAP Ultimate brain.

Qlarity Foundry 2

The OptoTerminal programming software contains the Qlarity Foundry software application, which is used to create and program the OptoTerminal-G70 and OptoTerminal-G75 operator interfaces. This complete installation includes user's guides and current OptoTerminal firmware, which can also be downloaded separately.
