groov EPIC mounting chassis for processor and power supply only (no I/O)

Production Specification

Part of the groov EPIC® system, the GRV-EPIC-CHS0 is designed to hold an intelligent GRV-EPIC-PR1 or GRV-EPIC-PR2 processor and a groov EPIC power supply. It does not include slots for I/O modules.

This new chassis option is ideal for applications where I/O is not needed locally. You can place a groov EPIC processor and power supply in challenging industrial environments where typical computers or networking equipment might fail. The EPIC processor can provide the edge computing power and networking connectivity you need to modernize and extend your existing control systems and communicate data with databases, online services, and other systems.

The GRV-EPIC-CHS0 provides all the functionality you expect from the groov EPIC processors, including visualizing data with groov View, connecting to third-party PLCs and PACs like Allen-Bradley® or Siemens® with Ignition Edge®, using MQTT for publish/subscribe communications, and using Node-RED for edge data processing. You also still have a choice of programming tools for controlling remote I/O, including PAC Control flowchartingCODESYS for IEC 61131-3 languages like ladder logic, and Secure Shell access to the Linux operating system for using languages like C++ , Python, Java, and more.

NOTE: If you need I/O on the same chassis as the groov EPIC processor, see the 4-module (GRV-EPIC-CHS4), 8-module (GRV-EPIC-CHS8), or 16-module (GRV-EPIC-CHS16) chassis.
