OptoTermCable is a power adapter (120VAC/60Hz to 13.5VDC @ 1.7A) and 6.5 ft (2 m) serial cable used with Opto 22's OptoTerminal-G70 and OptoTerminal-G75 color touch-screen display terminals. This cable is convenient for programming an OptoTerminal on a desk or location other than the final location where the terminal will be installed. (Typically a custom cable is used at the final installation site to match available power and equipment requirements.)

Opto 22's OptoTerminal family brings a programmable, Ethernet-enabled, graphics-based operator interface to any location with Opto 22 SNAP Ethernet I/O, SNAP Ultimate I/O, or SNAP-IT systems. Operators can use these mountable display terminals to send commands to and receive real-time data from plant floor equipment and other devices connected to Opto 22 hardware.

OptoTerminal Programmer's Reference Manual

This manual covers the many aspects of the Qlarity Programming language. OptoTerminal software is divided into four major components: User Application (created in Qlarity Foundry™ or a compatible text editor using the Qlarity™ programming language), Application Binary (the user application compiled as binary so it can be downloaded to the terminal), System Software and Operating System (written in C using µC/OS) and the Hardware Abstraction (for the Windows® and the terminal’s hardware drivers).
