SNAP PAC racks mount one SNAP PAC brain or on-the-rack controller, plus up to 4, 8, 12, or 16 SNAP input/output (I/O) modules.
I/O modules may be analog, digital, or serial modules. All module types can be mixed together on the same rack in any position. This data sheet covers the following part numbers:
SNAP B-series mounting racks are designed to hold an intelligent SNAP I/O processor (either a SNAP brain or an on-the-rack controller) and several I/O modules. This data sheet includes detailed information and specifications for SNAP B-series racks as well as the digital-only SNAP-D64RS rack. Rack fuses and DIN-rail adapters are also included in the data sheet. B-series racks are used with serial and some Ethernet I/O processors.
The SNAP I/O D Series racks are designed for discrete control applications and can accommodate 4, 6, 8, or 12 SNAP 4-channel digital modules. These MC and MC-P model racks provide a screw-type terminal strip for additional wiring requirements. This data sheet applies to these parts:

This compatibility chart shows which DIN-rail kit or clip to use with your SNAP power supply, controller, I/O mounting rack, breakout board, or classic brain board.
This legacy document describes how to install a legacy rack extrusion and how to install or remove a circuit board. It includes a list of SNAP rack accessories and applies to these parts:
This document is a statement of compliance with the EU Directive 2015/863/EU, Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS 3). This document lists Opto 22 products that comply with the substance restrictions of the RoHS 3 directive.
This document illustrates how to attach a DIN-rail clip (SNAP-RACKDIN) to a 35mm DIN rail. DIN-rail clips are used with I/O mounting racks, such as SNAP PAC racks, which hold I/O modules and a brain or rack-mounted controller.
This file contains AutoCAD drawings of Opto 22 products dating from 1988 to 2003. These are the same drawings that have been available on our BBS. Included is an Excel file describing the file names and relevant Opto 22 part numbers.
