Version R9.3a (and higher) of the Modbus Integration Kit for PAC Control (part number PAC-INT-MB) allows Opto 22 SNAP PAC controllers to communicate using Modbus/TCP, Modbus Serial RTU, and Modbus Serial ASCII protocol. Documentation for this toolkit is embedded in the example strategy charts and in the subroutines.

The previous toolkit (R9.1k) was completely revised to make the toolkit easier to use, resulting in the R9.3a version. Prior to the R9.1 version of the toolkit, there were separate integration toolkits for Modbus/TCP (part number PAC-INT-MBTCP) and Modbus serial (part number PAC-INT-MBSER).

The Modbus Integration Kit for PAC Control contains a set of PAC Control master subroutines, an example Modbus Master chart, a PAC Control slave subroutine, an example Modbus Slave chart that uses the slave subroutine, a demo data chart, and example initialization files.
