I/O point name change in tag database file is imported as a new point in ioControl
Problem was discovered in version: R6.1a
A name change to an existing I/O point in an ioManager tag database file, causes a new point to be added in ioControl when the tag database is imported.
Rebuilding the strategy corrects the incorrect point name assignment. Follow these steps:
- In ioControl Configure mode, click the mouse cursor anywhere in the Strategy Tree section to make it the active window.
- Press CTRL-R.
- Choose Compile→Compile All.
- Choose File→Save All.
The strategy database is rebuilt and the I/O point name assignment is corrected.
