Incorrect default millivolt scaling for SNAP-AITM and SNAP-AIMV type modules on Ethernet I/O units

Applies To:

SNAP-PAC-R1
SNAP-PAC-R2
SNAP-UP1-ADS
SNAP-UP1-M64
SNAP-M64
SNAP-B3000-ENET

Versions Affected:

Problem was introduced in brain firmware version: 1.0
Problem is fixed in version: R7.1h

Resolved In Version:

Problem is fixed in version: R7.1h

Symptoms:

Using the default scaling for a SNAP-AITM or SNAP-AIMV type module configured as a millivolt input module, causes the value reported to be off by a factor of 1000 (3 decimal places). The SNAP‑AITM module types are SNAP-AITM, SNAP-AITM-i, SNAP-AITM-2, and SNAP-AITM2-i. The SNAP-AIMV module types are SNAP-AIMV-4 and SNAP-AIMV2-4.

As seen in this ioManager example, a SNAP-AITM point left at the default scaling range for a millivolt input, reports 0.150 in the Upper Scaled Units field, and –0.150 in the Lower Scaled Units field. The values should actually be 150.000 and –150.000, respectively.

Millivolt input points configured with custom scaling, display the correct values in these fields. Also, inputs configured as thermocouples are not affected.
