FTP 'ls' or 'dir' command causes brain to reboot

Symptoms:
If a directory listing of the brain is obtained via FTP using the ls or dir commands using a typical FTP client, then the brain's STAT LED will blink red 5 times and the brain will reboot.
Here is one way to reproduce this problem:
- From the Windows Start menu, choose Run.
- Type ftp://brain ip address as shown in the example below.

- Click OK. The status LED will blink 5 times and the brain will reset.
