PAC Control: PIDs may fail to work correctly after their analog points are moved to another rack
- PAC Control Basic
- PAC Control Professional
R9.4e to R10.4a (may affect earlier versions)
Resolved In Version:
In PAC Control, PIDs may fail to work correctly after their analog points are moved to another rack.
When you move analog points from one rack to another, analog points referenced by a PID are moved, and the PID automatically replaces the analog points without warning or verification. Depending on the I/O point, a “blank” may be left as the analog point used for the input, setpoint, or output of the PID.
If you move analog points, manually check PIDs to verify whether they are using the correct analog inputs and outputs.
