Cannot clear error messages on backup controller in PAC Redundancy Manager

Symptoms:

When you select Clear All Messages in PAC Redundancy Manager to clear error messages on the redundant (backup) controller, those errors may appear to clear but the error count does not change. If you select the ### error(s) button, the errors may reappear.

Workaround:

Using PAC Terminal:

Under Configure Control Engines in the right pane, click Add.
Create a non-redundant (Standard) entry for the controller.
Select the new controller entry in the Control Engines list.
Go to View > Messages > Clear All Messages.
