PAC Display Configurator may crash if you don't save changes to an existing project, and then immediately undo edits in a new project

Applies To:

PAC Display Basic
PAC Display Professional

Versions Affected:

Versions affected: R9.5a through R9.6e

Symptoms:

If you have modified a PAC Display project and then closed the project without saving the changes (File > Close Project > No), Configurator may crash after you create a new project and then immediately perform an "Undo" (that is, click Edit > Undo in the PAC Display Configurator menu bar).

Workaround:

Any of these workarounds will prevent the issue:

  • Save the existing project before creating a new project.
  • Close and re-open PAC Display Configurator.
  • Save the new project before doing the "Undo."

Resolution:

Opto 22 has resolved this issue and will include the fix in an upcoming release.
