After restoring a project on a GRV-EPIC-PR1, groov View fails to load with HTTP error 503

Symptoms:

If you take a groov View project that was created in groov Server for Windows or groov Edge Appliance, then try to restore it (File > Restore Project from a Computer) to a groov EPIC processor, the restoration may fail. The browser displays HTTP ERROR 503. This happens if the groov View project contains a username with spaces.

Workaround:

Edit the groov View project from its source device (groov Server for Windows or groov Edge Appliance). Change any usernames with spaces to remove the spaces. Back up the project again, then restore it to the groov EPIC processor.

Resolution:

Opto 22 has resolved this issue.
