Symptoms:

If a strategy with subroutines is running and you make changes using Online mode, the controller may reset when you switch to Debug mode and then click Yes to download the changes.

Workaround:

Use background downloading instead of making online changes.
To enable background downloading:

In PAC Manager's Status Write area, set Strategy Download Method to Background (and then save to flash)
In PAC Control (File > Strategy Options > Download tab), select "Use background downloading and fast strategy updating"

Resolution:
