Analog input reports incorrect reading

Applies To:

Firmware for GRV-EPIC-PR1.

Versions Affected:

1.1.0

Resolved In Version:

1.2.0

Symptoms:

When you install a groov analog input module under either of the following circumstances, the default value for Gain is not 1, which causes the channel to report an incorrect reading:

  • You haven't stored any configuration information to flash.
  • You performed a reset to defaults configuration.

Workaround:

Do the following to set the Analog Input channel Gain to 1:

  1. From groov Manage home page, click I/O, then the analog input module.
  2. Click on a specific channel, the Configure.
  3. In the Calibration section of the channel page, click on the Gain field and enter 1.
  4. Click Save (in the upper right corner).
The new value for Calibration will be saved to flash and persist, so the next time the module is hot-swapped or the system is rebooted, the new value will be used.

Resolution:

Opto 22 has resolved this issue.
