PAC Display Runtime: "Waiting for Async Operations to Complete" message; window slow to close

Symptoms:

If an object has been configured with operator-driven dynamic attributes of Send Value (or Discrete or String) and also Windows (that closes the containing window), clicking the object multiple times rapidly may cause the window to delay closing by 30 seconds and display a "Waiting for Async Operations to Complete" message.

Workaround:

Click the object only once.

Resolution:
